The workshop
travels.
MAL Mobile Alloy Lab is a mobile alloy wheel refurbishment service covering South Wales. Everything a wheel needs travels in the van, so the work happens on your driveway instead of costing you a week without the car.
A week without the car is the real cost.
Traditional wheel refurbishment means dropping the car off, arranging a lift home, and waiting. For most people the inconvenience is worse than the damage, so the kerbed wheel just stays kerbed until the car is handed back and somebody else charges for it.
Working mobile removes that entirely. We turn up where the car already is, whether that is home or a work car park, and the job is finished around it.
The “Lab” in the name is not decoration. Getting a repair to disappear is a controlled process with stages that cannot be skipped, and the difference between a repair that lasts and one that lifts in a year is whether somebody bothered with all of them.
How we work.
Straight prices
A photo gets a number. Not a range, not a callout fee that appears later, and not a different figure once the van has arrived.
The repair, done properly
Damage cut back to sound metal before anything is rebuilt. Slower on the day, and the reason the finish is still there in two years.
We say no sometimes
Structural cracks, buckles and some diamond-cut faces are not driveway jobs. You will be told that rather than sold something.
